Each year at Thanksgiving, we are reminded to practice gratitude. This one is no different, as we show our appreciation for everything in our lives, both big and small. The best part about Thanksgiving is that it’s a day to surround yourself with friends, family, laughter & FOOD. Now try to imagine gathering around an empty table surrounded by hungry stomachs. It may be hard to believe, but thousands of families in Utah don’t have the means to truly celebrate Thanksgiving.
Wouldn’t it be a little more satisfying to loosen your belt and unbutton those pants knowing you’ve also helped feed a family in need?
The Park City Turkey Drive is one week from today!
The Park City Food Pantry is now providing food and turkeys for Park City, Heber, Kamas and Coalville. With the government shut-down and people out of work, the need to provide turkeys for local residents has increased to 500 this year, an increase of 20% from the last 7 years.
For every LIKE Jensen and Company receives on our Facebook page we will donate 2 lbs of turkey to the 12th Annual Park City Turkey Drive.
Let’s provide a Thanksgiving dinner to those less fortunate than ourselves!

THE BIG PICTURE
The 11th Annual Park City Turkey drive collected in excess of 1,600 turkeys and hundreds of pounds of non-perishable food items. On a Park City local level the drive provided 400 birds to the Park City Food Pantry located on Munchkin Road which serves both Summit and Wasatch counties. The remaining birds along with hundred pounds of non-perishable food items were delivered to the Utah Food Bank for distribution statewide.
