This is your 41-step checklist outlining the functions to be performed by your real estate team: Brad Jensen (your real estate agent), mortgage lender and the title & escrow company for a successful real estate transaction. The steps have been color-coded to indicate the role each member of your “team” will take and the order in which each task is typically performed.

We’ve numbered these functions for your convenience, however, many of these steps occur simultaneously.
1.) Pre-qualification issued and loan programs discussed.
Brad will introduce you to a reputable local lender who can help you identify your range of affordability. Obtaining pre-qualification or pre-approval with a lender will increase your negotiating strength. 2.) Property previewed and selected.
Property Searches: Based on your criteria & needs, we will provide quality properties for you to preview to help you narrow your search & make a short list of properties you would like to see. Brad is a full time agent who has personally previewed many of the homes on the market. His knowledge of what is available will be a great asset in determining what properties might fit your needs.
Drive-bys: We will take you around the Park City area to help you become familiar with the area & decide where you might want to purchase real estate. Our purpose will be to determine the neighborhood or area that best fits your lifestyle.
Home Showings: Once we fully understand your home buying requirements & have narrowed the search, we will focus our attention on showing you those quality homes on the market that may ultimately be your new residence or investment.
Personal Touch: We will return your phone calls &/or emails in the most timely manner possible, most often within 24 hours or less. We will keep you updated on what is going on in the market as it happens.
3.) Offer presented.
Negotiations: Brad will help you prepare a negotiation strategy. He will research & provide you with all the information necessary in helping you make decisions on price & terms of your offer.
4.) Contract ratified.
5.) Escrow opened.
6.) Buyer’s required funds deposited.
7.) Preliminary Report / Title Commitment ordered.
8.) Loan application taken.
9.) Inspections ordered.
