Salt Lake City VA Fisher House
When a veteran needs medical attention, the Fisher House is there in the time of need. Founded out of love for those who have served our country, the Salt Lake City Fisher House is pioneering a new type of medical care that includes accommodating their families. In many cases, veterans travel far to seek medical treatment, so the Fisher House is creating a place for families to stay with their loved one as they receive medical attention.
Cause:
Frustrated by the extreme costs veterans and their families endure while seeking out medical attention, The Fisher House works hard to alleviate those financial burdens and emotional strains. Through donations and determined fundraising, The Fisher House opened their doors with love welcoming veterans and their families. At The Fisher House, families can be together while getting the medical attention they need. Accommodations for the family is free and is paid for through donations.
The Jensen and Company family knows how important it is to support their veteran community. Medical attention can be costly and emotionally draining. That’s why Crystal Fordham’s daughter chooses to volunteer for this great organization every first Friday of the month right alongside her grandfather who is a veteran.
