“There is only one. Park City” Just like the city motto states, Park City, Utah, is a unique mountain town that brings in visitors worldwide. From skiing and snowboarding to hiking, shopping, and gourmet restaurants, Park City has a little bit of everything for everyone. Here is a guide to help you make the most out of your Park City vacation.
Packing for a Park City Vacation
What should you pack? What should you do? Where can you stay in Park City? Don’t worry; Jensen and Company have you covered. Park City is located at the top of the Wasatch Mountains, some 7,000 feet above sea level. Prepare yourself ahead of time, so you don’t experience altitude sickness. When you do head out for some hikes or ski on the slopes, plan to stay hydrated, eat extra carbs, and take it slow.
Pay close attention to the weather in Park City. Depending upon the time of year, it’s common to deal with temperatures ranging from 11 to 36 degrees in the winter. Summers warm up to 83 degrees but rarely climb much higher than that. No matter the season, we recommend a jacket or coat if you plan to spend time outdoors. We recommend Park City Outfitters’ complete packing guide when visiting Park City.
