This is your 41-step checklist outlining the functions to be performed by your real estate team: Brad Jensen (your real estate agent), mortgage lender and the title & escrow company for a successful real estate transaction. The steps have been color-coded to indicate the role each member of your “team” will take and the order in which each task is typically performed.
Red – Real Estate Agent / Brad Jensen
Orange – Mortgage Lender
Blue – Title Company
Black – All Team Members
We’ve numbered these functions for your convenience, however, many of these steps occur simultaneously.
31.) Closing instructions drawn.
32.) Closing instructions and / or loan documents signed.
33.) Signed loan documents returned to Lender with hazard insurance policy, if required.
34.) Funding package reviewed.
35.) Loan funds issued.
36.) Final funds from buyer deposited into escrow.
37.) Documents recorded with the local recording office.
38.) Escrow closed; final accounting; checks written and disbursed; closing statements issued.
39.) All parties notified by escrow upon closing.
40.) Key released to new owner.
Closing of the Sale: We will attend the settlement with you to close the purchase of your new property.
After the Sale: We will contact you after the closing to follow-up on remaining details or services needed.
