From Around the World
Find yourself standing in front of the Kimball Stagecoach and learn how the first settlers arrived in Park City. The interactive display showcases a railcar that allows you to hop on and feel the adventures of those who first arrived in the great mountain town of Park City.
Mega Mine and the Days of Ore
The awe-inspiring two-story re-creation of a 19th Century Mega Mine takes you back to the beginning days of Park City where mining was the primary industry that brought settlers from all over the world to the mountain town. Enter the mine and get a sense of what it was like for the early miners who worked day in and day out creating a boom in the city and accelerating its popularity.
Muckers & Millionaires
As the mining industry grew in Park City, money started flowing, however, not much of the money was remaining in town to be re-invested in the area. This exhibit is an exceptional social comparison between the miners (once called muckers) and those who owned the mines and collected all the revenue. The display shows the difference between lifestyles and explains where the money being made off of the minerals was going.
Tozer Gallery
Park City’s rich history in mining developed into so much more as time progressed. Explore the beautiful artworks on display at the Tozer Gallery. The gallery is around 1,000 square feet and showcases a variety of pieces including those created by children, locals, and artists from all over the world. Just another great way to learn history, but this time through art.
Bar Talk
This Park City Bar gives you light into the old saloon days in the mining town of Park City. Hear stories being told of miners, early settlers and what it was like to live in the historic mining town years ago.
