Private Schools
What makes these schools unique compared to private institutions in other areas is their small size. There are as little as 100 students or less per school, and the class sizes are small enough that each student is given personal attention and an education based on their learning needs.

One thing you may notice about these schools is that Park City’s district follows by a more traditional system for grades than the rest of the state. Middle school is for grades 6 and 7, rather than splitting 6th into elementary, and 7th into a middle school up to grade 9. This better separates students based on age, and helps to prepare them with smaller class sizes, within a more appropriate setting.
Charter Schools

There is another option, which is the local charter school. With around 550 students every year, it is a very full institution with children from kindergarten age clear to 8th grade. This might not be ideal for all students, but it provides an option for parents looking for a private school level education that still follows a monitored curriculum.
