If you think Park City, Utah is only a ski town, a jam-packed October calendar says otherwise! October is an excellent month to enjoy the cool fall weather and experience the people and culture of Park City.
There are events for all ages, so mark your calendar and join along as we share some of our favorites with you.
Park City Fall Trail Series
For the endurance junkies out there, make sure to check out the Park City Fall Trail Series. The series runs from Sept 22-October 20th, every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 in the evening.
Race distances range from 4 to 6 miles, with a youth event (1 mile) for the 12 and under crowd. The races are sponsored by the Westgate Park City Resort and Spa and support local youth ski programs.
Trivia Night at the Wasatch Brew Pub
Trivia night at the Wasatch Brew Pub is a great way to meet friends and other Park City trivia enthusiasts! Fun fact: The Wasatch Brew Pub is Utah’s original Brew Pub dating back to 1986!
Trivia night occurs every Wednesday through October 26th from 7:00-9:00 pm. The Wasatch Brew Pub is a 21+ establishment.
October 28th and 30th: Warren Miller’s Daymaker
Get excited for the winter ski season at Warren Miller’s 73rd annual ski and snowboarding film! Enjoy cinematic views of skiers from around the world racing down some of the most beautiful mountains across the globe. This film will leave you excited to hit the slopes this winter.
October 25th: Haunted House & Hotel Transylvania at the Park City Library
Get in the Halloween spirit with a haunted house and spooky movie at the Park City Library. The haunted house is free to attend and family-friendly. Halloween costumes are encouraged. And don’t forget to bring a bowl for some tasty popcorn!
October 15th: The 6th Annual Park City Shot
For the 21+ crowd, join hundreds of locals and tourists to take a shot with the local Park City Rotary Club and High West Distillery. The 6th Annual Park City Shot occurs at 2:00p sharp on Park City’s historic Main Street.
This year the Annual Park City Shot Ski is trying to raise over $35,000 for charity. Of course, please drink responsibly.
October 13: The Steeldrivers at the Egyptian Theater
Take advantage of the opportunity to see a great bluegrass band in an iconic Park City venue. The Egyptian theater is located on Main Street, surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and drinks for a great night out.
The Steeldrivers are from Nashville, TN, and put on a rousing and entertaining show. The Egyptian theater offers a comfortable and delightful concert experience. If you are planning a trip to Park City in the middle of October, make sure The Steeldrivers at the Egyptian Theater is on your list.
Arts Council Park City & Summit County ARTober Fest October 26th-Nov 1
ARTober Fest is a week-long experience on the corner of Munchkin Road & Bonanza hosted by the Arts Council of Park City and Summit County.
Enjoy a full schedule of food trucks, games, pumpkin painting, live music, films, drinks, etc.
This is an event the whole family will enjoy!
