Whether you live in Park City or are just visiting this New Year’s Eve, you can be guaranteed to find something to do—and a fun place to be—to ring in the new year. Whether you want to see a fireworks show or dance into the new year, there is a New Year’s Eve event for you here in Park City.
Catch New Year’s Eve Fireworks
As part of Park City Mountain’s Snowfest, there will be a New Year’s Eve celebration held at the ski resort. This celebration will feature DJ Velvet, along with live music from The Cover Dogs.
Also, speaking of dogs, you can look for the Avalanche Dogs at the Snowfest New Year’s Eve celebration. There will also be hot cocoa and s’ mores available as you watch the fireworks show.
Starting at 3:30 pm and going until 9 pm, you may not ring in 2020 at this party, but it will allow you to go to bed at a more reasonable hour if you want!
Ring In The New Year Great Gatsby Style
As the upcoming new year brings us into the new ‘20s, party your way into 2020 at a Great Gatsby roaring ‘20s New Year’s Eve celebration. Enjoy live music provided by the group Gold Standard as well as an award-winning DJ, which combines the Rat Pack influence of artists like Frank Sinatra with contemporary music such as Daft Punk.
There are two different packages available for this New Year’s Eve celebration, one which includes a private catered dinner and another which focuses on the dancing and entertainment portion of the night. Starting at 9 pm, this event is for those 21 and older.

A New Year’s Eve celebration open to the whole family, you can ring in the new year in the Kokopelli Ballroom, located in the Grand Summit Hotel. There will be a dinner from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm along with music, dancing, a cash bar, as well as a balloon drop at midnight. The party ends at 1 am so that you can plan on a long, fun-filled night.
Watch Torchlight Parade And Fireworks
At the nearby ski resort Snowbird, you can catch the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and a fireworks show as part of your celebration to ring in 2020. As night falls, skiers will come down the slopes at Snowbird, lighting up the night with their carried torches.
To make sure that you catch the parade and fireworks show, be sure to be on the Snowbird Plaza Deck by 6 pm. There will be complimentary hot cocoa and fire pits to keep you warm as you enjoy the spectacle.
However, if you would prefer not to travel to see a Torchlight Parade, you can visit Deer Valley on the 30th, since at the Deer Valley Resort, there will be a Torchlight Parade and fireworks.
Embrace Mystery At The Black & White Masquerade
While you don’t need to bring a masquerade mask, you can party and dance yourself into 2020 when you go to the Annual Black & White Masquerade. This 21 and older event will feature DJ Ross One for a night of music and fun.
Located at Park City Live, this event starts at 8 pm and will allow you to stay and enjoy partying into the new year. Tickets for general admission and VIP mezzanine are now available.
No matter what you decide to do to celebrate the new year, Jensen and Company wishes you a happy new year and a safe holiday!
