Anytime is a good time to visit Park City, but Spring might just be our favorite. Park City has much to offer for a unique and unforgettable Spring Break. There won’t be much to be desired after spending a week adventuring throughout Park City. Check out our insider’s guide for a top-notch vacation in Park City.
Skiing
Spring skiing is arguably the best skiing in Park City. Longer days, warmer weather, plenty of sunshine, and powdery snow make for endless fun days on the slopes. The resorts in Park City are world-class and provide luxurious amenities to help you unwind after a long day on the slopes. Our favorite spots include The elegant Chateaux Deer Valley, the beautiful Marriot’s Mountain Slide, and the recently updated Sheraton Park City. You can’t go wrong with any of these picks!
Ski Rentals
There are plenty of options when it comes to renting your skis. Several resorts in Park City will come to your accommodations to fit and provide your rental skis. There are skis for all ages and abilities—from toddlers to performance skis for the pros. Of course, you can also rent helmets and poles so everyone can return home safely!
Ski Lessons
Are you traveling with kids? Make sure to sign them up for ski school! While you may be able to race down the double black diamonds, trust us, it’ll go better if a ski instructor teaches your child how to ski. Your kids will quickly go from “pizza’ing” down the bunny slopes to “French frying’ing” down the blue squares in no time.
Need a break from skiing?
Take a break from skiing and check out several mini adventures on the mountain. Tubing, snowmobiles, and a trip to Olympic Park are the most popular picks amongst families.
Dining
Michelin chefs, mountainous backdrops, classy ambiances, locally sourced products, high-end wine, refreshing beer, and tasty cocktails. What more could you ask for? Park City is known for its casual, family-friendly dining and elegant first-class restaurants. Exquisite and diverse menu options will help you relax and refuel after a big day on the slopes!
If you get a chance to sneak away for a date night, we recommend spending the evening at Riverhorse on Main or The Glitretind Restaurant at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. Both spots make for an unforgettable night! For a family pizza night, check out Este Pizzeria.
Groceries
Spending all day on the slopes requires plenty of hydration and many snacks! Park City has several grocery stores to keep you and your family refueled. For Park City’s freshest organic groceries (and to help support local farmers), stop by The Copper Moose Farm Stand.
Spas
Everyone knows even the finest of vacations can be stressful at times. Treat yourself to one of Park City’s many grandiose spas! The high elevation and scenic landscapes create a natural sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate while on vacation. For a holistic spa experience, check out Spa Montage.
Downtown Main Street
With over 100 boutiques and almost just as many restaurants and coffee shops, you will fall in love with Downtown Main Street in Park City. For specialty coffee and used books, check out Atticus Coffee Books & Teahouse. Another favorite for a warm cup of joe and a quick snack is the Pink Elephant Coffee Shop. You’ll leave Main Street well-caffeinated with a few new outfits!
